My posts are never perfect..either because I'm in a hurry, typing on a laptop..which I can't stand the keyboard, or a small phone. Gratefully, I rarely get chastised for the mistakes. :)
I believe the quote by the man was “there are now armed guards on board”. He did not say military or private but some shipping companies to occasionally hire security to go on board.
I am. When Clinton tucked our collective tail and ran from Somalia (where, granted we probably shouldn’t have been in the first place) we showed bin Laden just how weak willed we were (and still are, I suppose) as a nation. A few years later, there go the twin tower.

So let me get this straight, 0 feels compelled to comment publicly on Jessica Simpson’s weight...but he has NOTHING to say about the Somali pirates violating the safety of our fellow Americans?????
Can someone explain this to me? If I were a ship owner who needed to take cargo in that area today, I’d equip the vessel with enough firepower to blow pirates in dinghys away before they got within 500’ of my ship.
A gazillionaire shipping guy on TV last night said that my point of view is bad, because it would create two tiers of vessels in the area. Only some would be able to afford hiring security and the rest would be open targets (like all of them are now). (??) To that I say, “so?” “and?”

I just heard they’re negotiating (the FBI/Navy with the pirates). Along with a statement from a Somali gov big stating ‘the pirates will lose, no one misses with America’; They’re daring us. Negotiate what? I feel like digging up Jefferson’s bones and sitting them in the front of the WH.
Obama wouldn’t want to blow up his brother who fights with jihadis in Somalia or his cousin who gets cuts from them in Kenya.
Lesson 2, never try to feed Africa (why bother when their corrupt leaders let islamists run wild and make deals with them... even facilitate); Lesson 1, blow their ass up from the start... even if it takes out Americans (who doesn’t know the risk by now, whether supply or cruiseship).
