He didn’t state any position at all. That’s the point. Immigration reform can mean absolutely anything. Everyone uses the term now to discuss different approaches.

Personally, I think we should put a moratorium on legal immigration as well but there are no candidates who embrace that position.

Too many people here don’t discuss facts, just their personal projections of people. Common sense has taken a vacation from this site.

And frankly, all of these politicians just throwing around terms thinking it will win them votes is pathetic.

Why not reach out to Hispanics based on the platform of conservatism that already exists? Instead, they all seem to say that reaching out must be accompanied by pandering with new or special rights. It is beyond tiring!
