See #52. We don’t need *any* “reform.”

And frankly, all of these politicians just throwing around terms thinking it will win them votes is pathetic.

Why not reach out to Hispanics based on the platform of conservatism that already exists? Instead, they all seem to say that reaching out must be accompanied by pandering with new or special rights. It is beyond tiring!

Can you name anyone who is in favor of cutting off benefits and sending all the illegals home?

There are NO candidates who will come out and say this. Even Sarah Palin was on board with the McCain type amnesty.

Given that 2/3rds of Americans want illegals gone the issue will have to be addressed in some way.

Well that strategy sure didn't work out as well as Juan McCain had hoped...

McCain Rebukes Hispanic Voters

McCain's message was obvious, the source continued: After bucking his party on immigration, he had no sympathy for Hispanics who are dissatisfied with President Obama's pace on the issue. "He threw out [the words] 'You people -- you people made your choice. You made your choice during the election,' " the source said. "It was almost as if [he was saying] 'You're cut off!' We felt very uncomfortable when we walked away from the meeting because of that."
