WASHINGTON (AP) - The owner of the Maersk Alabama, the American cargo ship held by Somali pirates, says a U.S. Navy warship has arrived off the coast of Somalia.
A spokesman for the ship company Maersk, Kevin Speers, tells AP Radio that the destroyer USS Bainbridge is on the scene. He adds that the boat with the pirates is floating near the Maersk Alabama.

Last report, 3 pirates and 1 captain were in the life boat.
So the battleship has shown up and the captain not reported killed yet.

This is outrageous? First, These are Somalia terrorists, not pirates! Second, if representatives from a country attack a ship on the high seas with an American flag flying, they have attacked the United States. If that country cannot rein in those representatives then the US military should escort every ship flying the US flag in those waters and destroy everything in its path. This bullshit has gone far enough!!!!

I kid, but I was wondering earlier today, what IF...would it be at ALL possible for these Somali “pirates” to get ahold of one of our vessels and use it against us?
What if Al Quaeda training is including a course on how to use weapons on board a ship?
Zer0 will demand that the radical pirates be treated with understanding as long as the kidnapped captain does nothing to make them uneasy.
Not possible...they'd run right into the business end of a 5-inch-54, a couple of Harpoon missiles, and the CIWS if they could somehow manage to get past the first defense.
