Randall Terry had his 15 minutes 20 years ago...
..I know, I was there.....& was supportive at the time.
He has since divorced his wife & left his first family (with much criticism from the real pro-life folks) and changed his faith.....
..yesterday he was Protestant, today he says he's Catholic....tomorrow, who knows.
Randall is a man looking for a cause, and his 'circus' will negate any and all well meaning clergy and honest dissenters during this very important protest.
Yes I am angry & embarassed with his antics.
He craves the limelight!!!
BTW, I knew someone would pipe up with this. I hear plenty of it from my pro-life friends.
The man has faults.
But the protest isn’t really about him.
It is about making some noise and I would call that absolutely necessary.
So long as the actions are nonviolent, it is about time that the culture war kicked into high gear.
Freaks like Obama are actively for killing babies: what is more worth fighting against?
Randal Terry can be a royal pain, I agree.
I made national news once, due to a disagreement that I had with Operation Rescue. I got accused by George Tiller and Judge Patrick Kelly of sending kids into the streets to lay down in front of cars. The truth? I went in to the street to get the kids OUT of the street, and the lying George Tiller and the lying, corrupt Judge Kelly accused ME of actually holding the OPPOSITE opinion in this matter.
To his credit, Randal Terry admitted his error in allowing children to take such risks. In his defense, the girl in question turned 18 a few days after the event. She said to me at the time, “Sir, you could not stop me from going into that building to kill my child, why do you believe you have the right to pull me out of the street?”
I had my disagreements with the man, but he is GOOD at what he does, one of the best there has ever been at street activism.
I have forgiven Randall Terry. YOU need to do the same.
NONE of us is perfect.
I am sure that your efforts, in this cause, can not come close to the results of Randall Terry.
I will reserve the right to argue with Randall Terry, when it comes to legislative issues, but as far as ND goes? He has my FULL SUPPORT!
If I can forgive Operation Rescue and Randal Terry, then I must say that you look rather petty, to me, if you can not do the same.
Maybe so. Too bad more prolifers don't crave the limelight as well as he does. Maybe a few more lives would be saved. Somebody once warned against setting your light under a bushel.
This comment was entirely predictable! That said, I told my husband
this morning that despite Randall’s flaws ( I know I’ve a few - how about
you?) he has vision.
Who else has reasoned that the front line of
the battle against evil needs to rush troops to duty???
The world will be watching and will we be lacking?
Rise up America!! Fight evil!!
