Brown has NEVER claimed his fictional books are true. That's why they call them FICTION. He is an excellent author whether you like his subject matter or not. Angels & Demons was a thrilling and brilliant story. I liked it more than the DaVinci Code.
Do you think "24" is an anti-American show because it has portrayed a president as corrupt? Get a grip.

Do you think "24" is an anti-American show because it has portrayed a president as corrupt? No, I watched The West Wing and The American President.
So, I know that Democratic/liberal Presidents are good and convervatives are evil.

I've seen him interviewed, and he claimed that the book was meticulously researched and reveals historical facts that are "hidden" from people.
He is a terrible writer. Danielle Steele and J.K. Rowling are better writers than he is, by far. I'm shocked his publisher didn't get a ghost writer to bring it up to a professional level.
He stole the entire plot from an earlier book.

Brown has NEVER claimed his fictional books are true. Actually, he claimed the stories are fiction. As far as he is concerned, the research behind them is accurate, if slighlty exagerated.
