How sleazy and rock-bottom was Maggie Rodriguez’s interview of Levi Johnston and his family, aired on The Early Show this morning? At one point Rodriguez asked Levi’s sister whether she thought the Palins were “snobby.”
Consider that. CBS thought it was good journalism to ask and appropriate to air the opinion of: the sister of the former boyfriend of the daughter of a former vice-presidential candidate whether she thought that former vice-presidential candidate’s family was “snobby.”

Yes, this is actually the TRUE or TRUER face of what is still considered to be “political tele-journalism” as practiced by the MSM. It’s the other stuff, which pretends to be “serious”, which is actually the sideshow the prep the way for getting to this stuff, the lowest of low-level tabloid sleaze. And SO mundane, too.

Question: At one point the mother was asked how it felt to see her son go "through this" and with crocodile tears she claimed it was devastating. May I ask what "going through this" means? Unless I missed something, I don't recall the Palins making an issue out of anything but rather these media hounds looking for their 15 minutes and the Palins then responding.
