Plante is gone? I can't believe it. He's the best. I remember thinking a couple of times, though, that his high degree of passion was going to get him into trouble. Sometimes he just wasn't able to pull back, which is part of what I loved about him. I also remember cringing when he told a Michael Jackson joke a month or two ago (Question: What's Michael Jackson's favorite song? Answer: "Forever Blowing Bubbles") I thought it was funny as hell, but I figured the brass at WMAL wasn't going to like it much. What a shame he's gone. Austin Hill doesn't do much for me, so it may be music from now on during my morning drives.
