I imagine Obama is looking at someone from MSNBC or maybe ACORN. Rosie O’Donnell is out of work. I expect we’ll be getting an announcement soon.

He’s probably looking for someone to dismantle the space program.

It makes the US look better than an banana republic and he thinks it makes the U.S. have toooo much national prestige.

"He’s probably looking for someone to dismantle the space program."

I'm sure it's on his Blackberry's ToDo List.

Maybe he will forget and just leave NASA alone to do it’s job. A meddling President is the last thing NASA needs. Just stay the freekin lunar course.

I don't recall George Bush having any trouble putting his cabinet together and he had to deal with the Sore Loserman attempted coup. He also didn't have such lopsided support in the House and Senate.

Whatsa matta, 0bambi? First job got you confused?

Obviously Whitey on the Moon had a profound impact on the O's attitudes toward our space program.

I had heard that early on, there had been some 'aggressive negotiation' between former NASA deputy administrator Lori Garver and then NASA administrator Mike Griffin.

In a COMPLETELY unrelated story, Jeremiah Wright is quoted as having a rather low opinion of NASA:

"That’s right: NASA is going to send the black man to Venus where it is inhospitable to life and we will all die."

But I'm sure Obama isn't letting his "faith" influence his politics. Surely it hasn't caused him to be apathetic towards science of any kind because that just wouldn't be putting it in its proper place...
