Wow, I just saw on Sportscenter some video of Biden throwing out the first pitch of the Orioles/Yankees game, and I am here to tell you the booing was thunderous. They showed pictures of fans in the stands, and they were not happy at all. The announcer even commented that they don't usually boo like that in Baltimore.
I wonder if this is a bit of a barometer of the current feelings of apple pie and baseball Americans?
You have a god given and constitutionally protected right to act boorish.
I agree with you 10,000 %. Say it loud and say it proud. The great thing about zero picking dumb asses of biden’s caliber from the Senate is that they are less fools in the Senate. Microsoft outlook spell checker did not like bidens name spell in lower case and the next word is Bidets ha ha. He should wash his mouth out in a freshly used one, and zero too!!!
Yes, he was taught to have that chip...He is not qualified to teach the rest of us about a chip on the shoulder.
Bingo. Jeff Gordon, if the booing really was directed at Biden instead of Texiera, and I hope it was, it illustrates that America is alive and well. Americans don't bow to royalty or politicians, the way Obama "respected the office" and bowed to the Saudi king.
Obama and Biden have shown abundant disrespect for the office. For a large public gathering of Americans at a baseball game, NOT booing them would be disrespectful of the office, in my opinion.
The MSM can ignore things like tens of thousands of Americans showing loud contempt for Obama all they want, but it can't stop it from happening, and the repurcussions of not reporting it when it does is that one by one, more and more Americans, by the tens of thousands, realize just how deceptive the MSM is and that America isn't what the MSM would have us believe.
I would not be at all afraid to vocalize against Obama when he is playing candidate Obama. I would not boo Obama at an official POTUS function such as a wreath laying or a baseball opening pitch. I would boo Obama at any one of his town hall meetings or public rallies. In these cases he is acting a candidate Obama not POTUS Obama (even though he is currently POTUS).
The fact that President Obama is OUT OF THE COUNTRY ON OPENING DAY is further proof - as if any is needed - that he hates America!
Michelle was a Monster 16-inch softball player. Her husband, being Hawaiian, thought the Chicago softball was a cocoanut. After conferring with aides, he tried bowling the ball...
So if he struck out at the game, perhaps Biden should try awarding a trophy at a NASCAR event.
In today's MSM climate, these are the ONLY places we hear the real voice of the people. Public things like baseball games are the only places FREE Americans are likely to find fellowship's courage to voice their profound disaproval of him without fear of repurcussion. That was Eye of Unk's point.
Regardless that it may be interpreted as a slur on the office by some, even a 9-year-old boy understands that it is a slur on a traitorous fraud president who occupies and disrepects that office and everything American freedom represents.
Wouldn't it be a splendid and infinitely more telling thing if the stadium's 40,000-plus were stone-cold silent the entire time -- no applause, no whistles, no boos, no cheers, but cold, frightening silence?? Obama/Biden supporters would feel intimidated indeed.
You're idea of not booing does have some merit, Jeff. Icy, eery silence instead of booing would be pretty powerful!
Indeed! Stone cold silence would be much more effective that booing. That would be dream come true.
Being a minority voice at such an event is where the rubber meets the road in the test of our conviction. Least we forget...
My point is exactly that, we can and probably are afraid to be too vocal of our views, myself I have had to erase a lot of my posts after thinking, would this set attention to me?
Obamas greatest strength is to keep us at minimal numbers, in the very very near future I suspect he will authorize any agency he can keep very large groups of dissenters from organizing, by any means.
I can just imagine Glen Beck is the center of a rally in San Antonia, suddenly shots ring out, a sniper!
Or a convenient train wreck happens nearby and chlorine gas is approaching.
Frankly said our best bet is to use sporting events to make a rally cry, go to a game, meet others, do it with the security of thousands, maybe the huge jumbotron will have messages or news, one can always hope that it can spread like wildfire, I can only dream of a NASCAR event that Obama or Biden visits.
Our strengths can only grow stronger as long as we are together, if we chose to act singularly we are but the flea in a buffalo’s eye.
We all are aware of his contrived town hall events, I am looking at one right now from Istanbul, almost all of the students are dozing off trying to get through his monoluge.
Yep I noticed that little bit of info also.
Ironic isn’t it?
Jor Biden is a drunk.
Whoa on the Tiger comment...even though he spoke at the inaugeration, and the media went gaga over it, he spoke mostly about the honor of our troops.
Needless to say, have you really heard word one about Tiger AFTER the inaugeration? hmmmmmm?
Then I would boo him. The office has a hard time throwing a baseball.
“I do know Tiger went to the innaguration, so did Garth Brooks and I dont hold it against him, either.”
I definitely hold it against both of them. Too much f’ing compromise in this country; it’s what brought America to its knees.

By Tiger WoodsEditor's note: Below is the speech Tiger Woods gave on Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. during the festivities for the presidential inauguration. It was originally printed on www.tigerwoods.com.
I grew up in a military family -- and my role models in life were my Mom and Dad, Lt. Colonel Earl Woods.
My dad was a Special Forces operator and many nights friends would visit our home. They represented every branch of service, and every rank. In my Dad, and in those guests, I saw first hand the dedication and commitment of those who serve. They come from every walk of life. From every part of our country. Time and again, across generations, they have defended our safety in the dark of night and far from home.
Each day -- and particularly on this historic day -- we honor the men and women in uniform who serve our country and protect our freedom. They travel to the dangerous corners of the world, and we must remember that for every person who is in uniform, there are families who wait for them to come home safely.
I am honored that the military is such an important part, not just of my personal life, but of my professional life as well. The golf tournament we do each year here in Washington is a testament to those unsung heroes. I am the son of a man who dedicated his life to his country, family and the military, and I am a better person for it.
In the summer of 1864, Abraham Lincoln, the man whose memorial we stand, spoke to the 164th Ohio Regiment and said:
"I am greatly obliged to you, and to all who have come forward at the call of their country."
Just as they have stood tall for our country -- we must always stand by and support the men and women in uniform and their families.
Thank you, and it is now my pleasure to introduce the U.S. Naval Glee Club.
“...so did Garth Brooks and I dont hold it against him, either.”

Brooks has emerged as a typical Hollywood Democrat and Obama supporter.
I DO hold it against him.
