I agree with you about McCain. My brother said the prior Obama supporters are keeping a very low profile now.
Yes. I found a lot in her to admire. Any woman who can hunt a moose, butcher the carcass and drag it, cook it for dinner and store the meat for future consumption has my admiration. There were women like that who made our country great as the population spread across the continent to the west coast.
Funny how conservatives are really much more comfortable with powerful and talented women than liberals are.
You know, I wish Phyllis Schalafly could run for President. We sure could use someone like her, male or female.
The snob was very clear in that juvenile video of his that he was going to kill development of future weapons systems. And it’s startlingly clear what he’s all about... I just can’t believe that Americans aren’t wising up to it at all.
Yes, the only ones that I know of where very quiet today after the news came out. Now the question is do we get any of the F-35 work in Marietta? The F-22s will finnish out in 2011 and we will still work on them here.
I’m going by the union hall tomorrow and make sure NONE of my dues money goes to any PACs.
We live in fame.
You went down in flames.
Nothing can stop the U.S. Air Force!
Here was something on that I posted just after the election. It is long, but the bottom line is...people don’t care. And that percentage of the population who think about the F22 program and why it may or may not be important is even much, much smaller. You might say “F22” to an average person in the street in New York City, and the response would be a nearly certain puzzlement. To them, it is outside their sphere of existence. “American Idol” (to use the most commonly mentioned example of an existence) In that light, I wrote the following:
Obama is a racist who spent twenty years listening to anti-American racist pap in a racist “church” and gave large sums of money to that “church”.
People don’t care.
Obama is an associate of a virulent anti-American radical terrorist, a member of a group who killed AMERICANS with bombs, who wished he had done more violence, whose most public moments in print are accompanied by a picture of him proudly and triumphantly standing on top of an American flag, the same flag I and my father served under, and my father was buried under. This man is one of Obama’s principal patrons, who by his own admission is “guilty as sin-free as a bird”, and quite proud of that.
People don’t care.
Obama is corrupt to the core, steered money towards his family (wife) and friends.
People don’t care.
Obama is an avowed socialist who believes in redistribution of wealth.
People don’t care.
Obama thinks higher taxes are the way to fix our problems.
People don’t care.
Obama thinks higher gasoline prices are good for us.
People don’t care.
Obama thinks guns should be banned.
People don’t care.
Obama is a devotee of Saul Alinsky’s techniques as described in “Rules for Radicals”, one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.
People don’t care.
Obama is probably not a citizen eligible for the Presidency under the guidelines of the Constitution and pointedly and arrogantly refuses to provide the documentation.
People don’t care.
I am disheartened about this election in ways I simply cannot describe, but most depressing and discouraging for me is that I worked hard as a citizen to understand the issues. I made the effort to evaluate and re-evaluate my stand on issues and make sure they were backed by logic and consistent with what was best for our nation.
My vote was trumped and negated by a damned ignorant idiot who came to the conclusion Obama was going to pay for her mortgage and her gasoline. My vote was worthless.
For the very first time in my life, on the basis of what I saw leading up to and on November 4, 2008, I came to the conclusion we are finished as a republic

Now, I admit, I don’t feel much more optimistic today. But I haven’t given up hope...Hope. Look at that word. Amazing how the left took that word and played it like a violin in the ears of the Useful Idiots who were in that middle 30% of the electorate.
Just amazing. Of course, what is equally amazing is Ayn Rand’s portrayal of events today in “Atlas Shrugged”, and F.A. Hayek’s book “The Road to Serfdom”, and how it clearly lays out what is going on today.
Just wait until we further cut our paltry production of submarines. Electric Boat is already on life support.
“Stupid, dangerously naive congress. Why is it when congress screws up everyone feels it but them?”
Because they will be safe in the underground bunkers built for them, the elite, while the normal citizen is pounded up because of Congress’ ignorance.
Way to piss away billions in R&D costs.
These days, we seem to want to repeat the 1930s financially and militarily only with the new belief that we are invincible and our only enemies are desert dwelling robe wearers with less than a third grade education. We are going to get schooled...again.
Development costs are built in to the cost of the aircraft. Buy more airframes and the price per unit goes down.
You forgot Gates, congress and obama.
