I just can't feel sorry for her. How can someone who supposedly studied the people and the religion be so stupid?

she was not betrayed by her beliefs, she was betrayed as you pointed out by her stupidity, and now who is she coming crying to?

I hope we’ve seen the last of Jihad Beverly.

No-one should be paying her ransom.
Even if her media friends have a whipround and use their own money, it just goes to strengthen terrorists and criminals.
Still less should her government put a red cent toward this.

The irony is fabulous and would be tops if her very own Jihad Website were to post a vid of her blessed decapitation?

This smells like that Italian “journalist” who was kidnapped in Iraq and was freed after the Italians paid the ransom.
I bet she is sitting in a comfortable hut somewhere using this as a money generating scam to help fund her new friends.
They mail back her head and I will admit I’m wrong, other than that I will bet money she is complicit in this.

Perhaps she’ll get an Islamic gang rape before they saw her treacherous head off. What a wonderful “religion.”

In her video she claims the deadline was the end of March. We’re into April - any word on her status?

I do not feel sorry for her. I am saddened that she was so stupid and warped. At the very least she now knows the truth. Some people don’t learn hard realities as easy as others do.

Her captors have demanded $375,000 in ransom money by the end of March, and they have threatened to kill her if their demand isn't met.
Does this conjur up images of Dr. Evil trying to decide how much to demand in ransom in anyone else's mind?

I found the article very interesting because I’ve often thought the same thing when looking at a photo of Osama bin Laden. He seems to have gentle eyes and not the cold blooded eyes of a killer.
Look at those old photos of Gen Serham and Lincoln - those guys had death and murder in their eyes! No offense intended of course.
The moral to my post is that what you see in a photo can deceive you. Lincoln and Sherman would have had to stay still for almost a complete minute and that can cause the eyes to seem to harden. Of course, Gen Sherman was a bloodthirsty killer, history proves this, but still we know photos can deceive.

So what is the URL of this libtard's web site?
And is she still keeping the site current?
Lousy reporting here...
I would contribute to a fund to send the mass muderers money (once) to keep her!

Now, four and a half months later, 11th-hour negotiations continue in efforts to save Qahaar's life and secure her release. Her captors have demanded $375,000 in ransom money by the end of March, and they have threatened to kill her if their demand isn't met. This is the normal process for requesting grant money in the Muslim world. All part of her "research."
To: pepperdog
It would be a shame if people started a rumor that she was actually CIA(wink, wink). Her life might really be in danger.
