Education Secretary Arne Duncan did a public service last week when he visited New York City and spoke up for charter schools and mayoral control of education. That was the reformer talking. The status quo Mr. Duncan was on display last month when he let Congress kill a District of Columbia voucher program even as he was sitting on evidence of its success.

The idea is to keep the electorate UNEDUCATED. That way, when you promise them The Moon at the expense of those nasty rich people, they believe you and vote for you! :)

Excellent article. We need to start waking up centrists by making a lot of noise about.....

Obama's War Against Children.

The debt burden he is laying on these kids is another reason to push back hard. As well as his desire that there be fewer kids.

Fat, Dumb and Happy...that is what Democrats have done for years. Blacks have been yelling about the same thing for 40 years. And Congress was in controled by Democrats for 90% of that time. You would think blacks would get the message sooner rather than later.
“Give a man fish feed him for a day....Teach a man to fish fed him for life”.

Let us not forget that Obama was CEO of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge(CAC) which spent $120 million in Chicago to improve education for a portion of Chicago's public school kids.

The result? According to a study by the U/Chicago (yes, his and hers U/Chicago), there was no measurable improvement in student acheivement.

I am STILL angry that in the campaign the Poodle Press never once mentioned Obama's failure at CAC.

It’s easier for a totalitarian government to rule over an uneducated society. The government becomes the master, and the slaves won’t know any better.

Obama's War Against Children.

According to Obomas's own words, they're nothing but a punishment anyway.

$120 million could have purchased a lot of vouchers.

Or it could have endowed a school to provide free education.

These people are only about control, not the well-being of children.
