Are they getting rid of the rotating presidency?

I really do not relish this. I do not think it is a good thing.

The Friends reported this morning that he's earning £500,000 and £1m a month for his speeches.

Agreed - per the source article Blair's political nemesis Cordon Brown has agreed to support this in return for Blair supporting Brown's big push to create the so called “new world order”..!!

Look at it this way: it’s just more likely that Tony’s visibility will accelerate Gordon Brown’s enormous upcoming loss. Go British conservatives.

The South West’s only Liberal Democrat MEP, Graham Watson, seems to be on a quest for maximum unpopularity.

And on current form he might just end up taking the whole Lib Dem campaign for the European Parliament elections down with him.

During the Prime Minister’s visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg this week - on the first leg of his pre-G20 ‘world tour’ - Watson used his regulation three minutes speaking time to press Gordon Brown to take Britain into the euro.

I take it that the “new” part is that now Gordon Brown is on board with supporting his political enemy Blair for the job..?

Maybe GB is hoping to get something political out of this. Frankly I don’t see anything but down.

I had the same thought...and, if the North American Union is formed, what then...another President for it? IMF controls the global economy (and money), since the G20 agreement...too many changes.
