STEVE KROFT'S PENETRATING REPORTORIAL TECHNIQUE WAS ON DISPLAY last July 6, 2008--on 60 Minutes rerun of his interview with "the stupidest man on the face of the earth"----pukeneo Douglas Feith.
Thanks to Kroft we have proof-positive that dumbhead Douglas Feith is a self-affirming space cadet. That this dimwit could get a parking spot near the White House would be a miracle. That he was allowed to make WH policy for the US is appalling.
Conniving Feith showed a con man's adeptness at using Kroft's penetrating questions to deflect blame for the costly, bloody Iraq disaster on everyone but himself---where it rightfully belongs One hopes, Feith's involvement in US foreign-policy is a relic of the wacky neo-conservative movement, which flim-flammed the Washington establishment and allowed lunacy to become respectable. We need to know the mistakes we made that allowed this con artist Feith and his neo-buddies to achieve the status they did.
OMISSION Steve Kroft should have mentioned that Feith was the neo-clique surrounding then-candidate McCain's candidacy. Whenever McCain talked of the Hundred Year War his posture changed---as the neocons tightened his leash. The neos are chomping at the bit to pull US govt puppets into Iran. One envisions Feith at his trusty computer creating the required false documents.
================================
Steve Kroft needs to give viewers a reprieve from Feith's squalid flim-flam. Kroft needs to interview Dr Stephen Sniegoski, author of the excellent book, "The Transparent Cabal" (IHS Press), ranked in Amazon's top 100 for 21st-century US history books.
REMEDY SUGGESTED EMAIL 60m@cbsnews.com Steve Kroft can remedy an oversight and begin an open discussion of how these neo-Jacobins hijacked US foreign policy. It would be a shame of an authentic intellectual like Dr Sniegoski did not get the same media facetime a charlatan like Feith got, because Dr Sniegoski is not media-connected (and has no hidden agenda).
Dr Sniegoski holds a doctorate in American history from the U of Maryland, with a specialty in American diplomatic history. He is the author of numerous articles dealing with World War II, the war on Iraq, and political philosophy.
"Anybody got a rolled-up sock handy?"
Hitler got shot up daily. Read your history.
Yes look how he walks from the af1 chopper to WH or from car to WH.
Oooooooh - what a cute little pansy.
Pay no attention to the vials of meth, those were Doctor prescribed.
You must have missed the Hitler Channel special, High Hitler.
"Soon as I finish rehearsing, I'm off to watch the big boys workout at the gym. "
" Maybe I can get 'em to manhandle me (shiver)."
" Oooooo---those pecs really turn me on."
“Hitler was an anti-smoking, vegetarian, non-drinking promoter of mass murder ... who was amphetamined up during most of the last four years of his life. He was delusional to the max. Read some History.
I don’t think that would work. Your brain would have to be fried to listen to him speak! A brain cell still thinking would tell you to turn him off. I have quit watching local news and only listen to sports talk radio since too many political programs on the radio play clips of ZERO. I am boycotting anything audio from ZERO for my own health!
On the heals of overwhelming evidence that media does bias toward progressives, this kind of message seems starkly unfunny.
Also the editing was just lousy.
The mass murder didn't come right after he was elected. First he had some progresive agenda items. Of particular importance Hitler first needed to implement gun registration.
But also he made the state responsible for the poor and sick. Thus it was an easier step to the mass murder--after all why should the state be saddled with the responsibility of an "unworthy life"?
“how long would it take for the source of herb or blow to snitch on this guy....bout a split second...”
Sources don’t snitch.
Well, if they do, wouldn’t they end up in jail?
In serious times the first thing that goes is a sense of humor. I do apologize for offending so many people.
Yes, but he had a personal physican who kept him hopped up on a coctail of various drugs including methamphetamines, amphetamines and mescaline.
Theodore Morell was the “doctor’s” name
So read a bit more.
No, he was suffering nicotine withdrawl.
Hitler, who just happened to inject methamphetamine daily. I read the history and this is a fact.
Is it the TOTUS or TOKUS?
