this Shock dude sounds like an ass-clown. We need more guys like Thad McCotter. Check out his appearances on Red Eye.
Good to see the truly important issues - like a politicians abs - are finally coming to the forefront. So much better than taking about all those stuffy fiscal, international, and governance issues.
McCotter is great! Schock seems like a girly man.
If he is only 27, he has a lot to learn. No experience. Kind of like Zero........
'Zactly like Zero.
Sure, he's doubtless a smarmy, liberal RINO but, I'm fairly sure there must be a rule about Schock threads...
I was a little stunned to see that my "adopted" (R) rep from Michigan voted "yea". Think I'll just print this roll call off and send it in lieu of a monatary contribution...
27 years old is not old enough to have the life experiences to make informed descisions. I prefer someone who has been around the block a lot longer to be a leader.
No argument here.
I think Winston Churchill once said, "If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain." I am not at all sure what sort of "conservative" Schock (I had a hard time not putting an "L" in there somewhere) is, or thinks he is...
You might remember that story from a number of years ago about the 19 year old candidate that ran against the President of his school board as a write in candidate and beat her by a landslide. This is the same guy...didn’t realize that until I looked him up. He has quite a few other interesting things in his bio as well.
The vote on the AIG bill is a mark against him, but other than that he seems to be a fairly solid conservative. He is definitely a shift to the right from his predecessor, Ray LaHood (who is now in Obama’s cabinet).
