On Saturday, Binghamton's Police Chief Joseph Zikuski told NBC's "Today'' show that people "degraded and disrespected'' the gunman -- believed to be a Vietnamese immigrant -- over his poor English. This from the chief of a police department that did this (from another article):
"Police heard no gunfire after they arrived but waited for about an hour before entering the building to make sure it was safe for officers."

They didn’t want to get their SWAT uniforms soiled like
the officers at Columbine!

I guess they didn’t learn a thing from Columbine or V tech. Just goes to show the only person you can rely on to protect you, is you. The police will only arrive in time to make a nice chalk outline around your body.
Sad situation all around.

"Police heard no gunfire after they arrived but waited for about an hour before entering the building to make sure it was safe for officers." ...and to finish their donuts.
They have no such compunctions when coming in, guns blazing, to take out 93-year old women in Atlanta.
NO cheers, unfortunately.
