Two women serve in Israel's new Cabinet - but some Israelis would rather not see them.
Newspapers aimed at ultra-Orthodox Jewish readers tampered with the inaugural photograph of the Cabinet, erasing female ministers Limor Livnat and Sofa Landver.
Ultra-Orthodox newspapers consider it immodest to print images of women.

I would hope an ultra-orthodox rabbi would go back to the book and re-consider the alteration of truth of the moment.
This is a disgrace , not only to remove the women in the picture but because it was photoshopped as it WAS.
Were separate pictures taken of the women aside from the men?
If those women had separate pics taken there wouldn’t be this discussion, they could have been posted in the paper , too.
To alter the truth by PhotoShop of the moment is not kosher.
This kind of stupidity isn’t confined to the ROP.

That part did surprise me - to use high tech to remove the women - just seems sort of not in keeping with the spirit.

True. but blessedly they aren’t holding down little girls in the street and beating them for standing near a boy like the ROP.
