Reminds me of the Sopranos episode where Tony drives his kid to see an old Italian neighborhood in Newark—once nice, and now shown to be a trash-strewn hellhole. A crack-crazed hooker yells at Tony after seeing him— “What are you doing here? This is our neighborhood now!”.
Tony says :”Yeah, I can see that...”
The thing is........this current Chicago is the same as the old Chicago.
Corrupt to the core. Nothing has changed. Not a thing but the names and the skin color of some of the crooks.
