Barack Obama: 'arrogant US has been dismissive' to allies (Hurl)
Telegraph ^ | April, 3, 3009 | Toby Harnden

President Barack Obama has offered an apology for the Bush era, declaring that America had “shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” towards its allies.

President Obama said the US had “failed to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world”.

His speech in Strasbourg went further than any United States president in history in criticising his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil.

Name another foreign leader, at ANY time in history, who said these things about their own country while in power. EVER.

I read history. A lot. I cannot think of ONE TIME, outside of comments made after a crushing, humiliating military defeat.

Not even Neville Chamberlain trashed Britain the way 0bama trashes the United States.

Maybe we (as a whole) deserve to be trashed by this empty suit. 53% of us were stupid enough to put him in office.

What I have found to be very interesting is that when you read an article on Drudge that links you to a British paper the comments at the end of every article are all anti -Obama. The comments at the end of most articles on Drudge are very anti BO.

Isn't that an act of treason? I am glad he has Michelle with him there so maybe both of them can be barred from ever returning to the WH. This is utterly disgusting coming from a U.S. president, let alone one in office! The weakness he is showing the world will cause our enemies to feel much stronger. Obama has sealed our fate, and it is not good for America.

Instead of being "The One" he is Public Enemy Number One!

It is my opinion that the Republic will not survive even 4 years of this dolt and his minions ... I just want him out of power. However, I prefer it be by non-violent means

This is expected from a left wing socialist who has always viewed America form the prism of socialism and inner city Chicago.

With bowed head and bended knee
By Thomas Lifson

Has anyone ever seen Barack Obama publicly bow and bend his knee when meeting someone prior to yesterday? I don’t recall any photos of such a gesture of greeting, but I would be very happy if some of the President’s defenders on the left could provide such evidence that his striking body language yesterday before the monarch of Saudi Arabia and custodian of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina was simply a habitual gesture of warmth.

Traitorous ignorant SOB. Words beyond that fail me. Or are not fit to print in polite company.

What a spoiled rotten bastard.

He is undeserving of the title President. This fool is unqualified, fraudulent, and traitorous. He belongs in prison for extortion, as well.

They’re playing him for the idiot he is. Stroking that ego.

I heard that the Indian PM asked for Zero’s autograph...and that Zero considered it a compliment. It isn’t. It was a subtle insult. He was taking the ‘mickey’ out of him for acting like a ‘rock star’. Zero’s too dumb to ‘get it’.

He should just stay over there. He owes an apology to all service men and women who gave their lives in an “arrogant” and “dismissive” manner, while “allies” sat at home wringing their hands. He owes an apology to every citizen who did their civic duty to protect our country from further attacks.

Besides, why do we need to apologize for being the leader against Islamofascists? Are we arrogant? If arrogant means we didn’t take any B.S. from so-called allies, heck yes! Are we dismissive? Of twits and fools? Darn straight, Skippy!

What a complete jacka$$! I’d like to give him and his minions a dose of arrogance and dismissiveness, U.S. Army style!

This man is a left wing socialist from inner city Chicago. He has always viewed America as unjust and unfair and will conitnue to do so. That is what he has been taught all his life by his left wing socialist associations such as Reverend Wright, Bill Ayres, his Keneyan father, etc... That is what he taught when he was a community organizer (agitator) in inner city Chicago. He views America through the prism of an angry black man from inner City Chicago where according to him America has done a lot of injustice to blacks and the world.

Nothing in the world is going to change who he is.

What a complete jerk.

I just sent the following to my senators and congresswoman in Colorado:

“I’m registered to vote in Denver and have voted by absentee ballot without fail since moving to Canada in 2000.

I am outraged by President Obama’s behavior overseas. Bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia demeans the office and sends a terrible message to the country that, by the way, produced most of the 9/11 hijackers. The President of the United States should bow to no one, particularly not royalty. The commentator on a.m. talk radio in Ottawa this morning couldn’t even believe it: “The leader of the free world BOWS to the Saudi king?” He was stunned.

And now, he gave a speech in Strasbourg, on foreign soil, criticizing the country, saying America has “shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” towards allies and that the country has “failed to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world”.

How dare the President go on foreign soil and slam his country?! How dare he bow like that?

I want Congress to come up with some resolution criticizing him for this behavior, particularly the bow. I want some public criticism of this from our elected officials. If nothing is said, our congress is tacitly condoning this outrageous behavior.

We don’t need to revoke his passport — he’s not a U.S. citizen anyway. We just need to not let him back again and send him back from whence he came (Hades comes to mind!)

You’re exactly right. I just posted in another thread how these comments trash our troops. Sickening.

About the Republic not surviving 0bama, I disagree.

The Republic is already dead. None of the 3 branches of government recognize any restraint on the exercise of power, and the msm and ignorant masses are cheering them on.

Individual rights and liberties are just empty phrases with no real meaning or value.
