As the President meets with world leaders, most Americans believe the economy will be helped more by the decisions of U.S. business leaders to grow their own businesses than by the actions of world leaders on behalf of the global economy.

The number of Democrats in the nation declined two percentage points in March while the number of Republicans dropped half-a-point. While Democrats continue to enjoy a significant advantage over the GOP in terms of partisan identification, the gap is the smallest its been since December 2007.
I find both of these trends encouragining.
Yet the pollsters continue to overweight their polls with demonrats.
