Some local authorities (cities/towns) and prefectures here in Japan are going on 24 alert; vacations/weekends being cancelled, lots of stuff under the surface going on thats for sure. I am sure Cobra Ball and Rivet Joint are up and in the action. Now we have the LIBERALS (in the Japanese and US press) planting media stories that “the Japanese are overreacting” quoting selective liberal policy wonks. I expected this to emerge. The “overreacting” line is straight out of the bowels of the US State Department.
Prayers for you, and all in Japan being said. Even if some think it’s “over-reacting”. They say the same dang thing about Iran’s threats to Israel. Not surprising.
You are exceedingly right, no doubt.
God’s safety and guidance to you and yours.
God have mercy on us all.
I do suspect that this NK thing is a bit too early for the WWIII conflagration to get going wholesale.
I think it’s some preliminary testing for that scheduled festivity.
I think it will be MOSTLY much ado about less than the NKese would prefer.
But Cobra Ball doesn’t fly at supersonic speeds, does it?
“The extra antennas created flutter over the elevator above .82M.” http://www.fas.org/irp/program/collect/cobra_ball.htm
Likewise, Rivet Joint’s speed is well under the speed of sound: Speed: 500+ miles per hour (Mach.66)
http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=121
So neither would account for the sonic booms heard. Even a B-2 is listed as flying at high subsonic speed. http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?fsID=82
In contrast, an F-22 flies at Mach 2. http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?fsID=199 But would or could an F-22 have any capability against an ICBM?
