Holding hands, hand shaking are both the acts of EQUALS. A BOW is an act of SUBMISSION and/or SUBSERVANCE! I did not care for Bush’s stroll with the King that much myself, but the two acts are in NO WAY comparable! What do you think would have happened to you in the middle ages (A time the Saudi’s still live in by the way.) If you walked up to your sovereign and shook their hand instead of bowing? Does the term “OFF WITH THEIR HEAD” come to mind? It is a phrase that the Saudis know very well.

In brief, no. It’s a non-event. I’ve distributed the news to a few people who wouldn’t otherwise see it, and I imagine others have as well, but the press will ignore it like they ignored that incredible “57 state” gaffe.
That was such a ripe one you’d think they’d HAVE to at least mention it, to entertain their viewers. But, no.
I downloaded the video to my computer and emailed it to all my email buddies in hopes that they will pass it on.
Our press was too busy getting tingly and discussing what Michelle was wearing to actually cover the fact that not only did the President of the US bow down to a muslim king, but that he also gave up our sovereignty. At the same time, the democratic congress of the US was debating and passing his massive budget.
