It substantially reduces the material cost of powderless vinyl examination gloves, a widely used medical disposable. So, maybe, maybe not. The company I was working for at the time has since gone bust. I don't know who owns the nominal rights, if anybody. They were bought by Lightyear Capital, but I don't know any more than that.
Given that I signed an agreement to sell it for a buck, wouldn't that be the limit of what I could recover?
If you have signed and agreement but they never paid youthe dollar, technically the agreement is void.
I would contact a lawyer if you want to seriosly pursue it- maybe they will give you some money just to make you go away.
If you ever asked for your dollar in email or writing that would be great- and if any witnesses from that company are aroiund, even better!
You just need to find a lawyer who is willing to tackle it and play hardball. I have heard there are one or two unscrupulouas ones that will sue over anything!! (no! really!)
I had a tenant once who sued me, even though I had two witnesses that he injured himself at work -not at my apartment building. The insurance company I had was going to PAY him and I made such a ruckus they stopped that. The little weasle never got a dime from me or anyone else because
I made sure the false affidavits he signed followed him everywhere and I think his lawyer got in trouble for having him sign contradicting affidavits he knew to be false.
If you have the priginal patent with your name, it miught even be easier than all this- you just enforce your patent. and since the company is not out of business, you dont have to worry they willclaim they own it, and as a backup- they never paid you for it. (Seriously they actually have to GIVE you the dollar)
