"an American president, actually, no American, should ever bow

I don't think that's entirely correct. It certainly wouldn't be an act of submission to bow to someone you're greeting in Japan. There, the bow is just like a handshake. We certainly wouldn't suggest that an American president shouldn't shake someone's hand.

What Obama is doing in that photo is submissive — that king is standing straight.

You are right Monkey. In Japan it is not submission but respect and it is mutual.

Here Zero is demeaning himself, and more importantly as Head of State, demeaning America. The King has instructed his OWN SUBJECTS not to bow to him.

Everyone in the room is laughing at him.

It is impeachable IMHO. What a travesty!
