I need a duplicate driver’s license, it takes a state agency 7-10 working days to process a form that will cost me $22.
Statists exist because of bureaucracy.

The Demrats just work overtime to try and smear Palin....who cares about her wardrobe when Obama is giving away millions, billions in bonuses to AIG, raising taxes to pay for those that don’t work, giving 2 billion plus to ACORN to secure Dem votes........and we care about Palins clothes.....”they” are pathetic!

When I donate my clothes to Goodwill, I use garbage bags too. The contractor, yard bags. So the Daily News is insinuating that just because they're in garbage bags means they're literally trashed?
The inevitable question: Why does it take months to donate clothes to charity
Uh, probably because the RNC wants to wait to write it off on federal taxes? (fricking dumb @sses at Daily News)

Wow.
Sarah did exactly what she said she would; donate the clothes back at the end of the campaign. She gives them to a third party to facilitate the donation so that she doesn't even get credit for them.
And the media is harping on this, why? Because they are still sitting in trash bags waiting to be inventoried?
Hell, if this was the DNC, they would be on workers' backs, not waiting to be inventoried and then donated!
Remember the "Count The Silverware" party?

The inevitable question: Why does it take months to donate clothes to charitySimple, because not all of the people trying to discredit Palin have a "D" beside their party registration. Lots of them have an "R", and they're in positions of power in the party.

I’ve packed up clothing in large garbage bags when moving. Sure, you can pay $10 for some expensive cardboard box, but a Hefty bag works quite nicely. And the clothes are completely sealed in and protected from dust.

As a donor who presumably helped pay for those clothes, I really don’t care what they do with them. I’m sure there are excess buttons, letterhead, etc. The clothes, in my opinion, fall into the same category.

You did'nt think they're going to walk into a Salvation Army and drop these clothes off, did you? The clothes wouldn't make it past the workeres who check them in.
Donating them to "Charity" could have many meanings. One, for example, would be to donate outfits to be auctioned off for SGK breast cancer funding. Another would be a "raffle".

Don't give any hits to “New Majority”.......its propaganda from Obama voters claiming to be Republicans, Frum, etc.
To: lewisglad
As someone who donated cash to the RNC because of Sarah Palin, I would have preferred if she and her family kept the clothes.
She looked good in them!

Some shocking news:
1)The RNC has become incompetent
2)The media are childish hyenas, giddy about using Palin and trash in the same sentence.
There is nothing new under the sun.
BTW this story is old...
