Maybe Mrs. Brown dresses the way she does is that her husband, Gordon, lost an eye in a rugby accident at age 16 and is partially blind in the other.

Michelle could start her research here: The Jacqueline Kennedy CollectionWow, nutmeg, thank you for posting that -- I looked at every piece. While I didn't always agree with some of Jackie's clothing choices, there was not one dog in that entire jewelry collection. Just timeless.

What a coincidence... I honestly didn't know this beforehand, but I just checked my cable on-screen guide... QVC will have a Jacqueline Kennedy Jewelry Collection show tonight, 6-8pm ET.
It's worth it to tune in, just to see the replica Jackie O jewelry and listen to the company representative describe the interesting stories behind each piece, to what event the former First Lady wore the piece, who gave it to her, etc.

Okay. This blue number is a non-starter. Not good. It could have worked as a dress with a short sleeve and nix the sweater. In this photo it appears the sweater is buttoned unevenly, and it's another skirt and shell.
This is SO BAD.
To: Constitutions Grandchild
Yeah, a lot of Michelle's tops and skirts just do not work together. It's a mystery that someone of her status can't get this fashion thing right.

The funny thing about this picture is that it makes Michelle look like she has antlers.

LOL, I wear saddle oxfords all the time. We had a sock hop in Sept. and I bought a pair of them for it.
They were so comfortable and match when I wear combinations of black, white and red slack outfits.
I have decided to continue to wear them until they come back into style again.

It's like they try to offend others by saying the wrong things, addressing the wrong world leaders, giving odd gifts, insulting treasured customs, and wearing inappropriate clothing for an event. BINGO! It's like they do it intentionally. Nobody could be that ignorant. I think it's an "in your face" to manners and etiquette. Are people not expected to know socially acceptable behavior at Harvard and Princeton? The Obama's are just rude!

Thank you!
I, too, am a fan of saddle shoes.
They are still required footware at east coast Catholic Schools and can be found on Swing Dancing apparel websites.

God, I love the ‘Fashion Police’!
Always good for a few good belly laughs.
To: Albion Wilde
Jacqueline Kennedy's signature jewelry was also multi-stranded pearls.
But both Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Bush knew how to wear them for elegant effect.
