I’ll believe it when people go to jail.

“Whitewash” is the first thing that pops into my mind. The Dems will find a way to defuse this issue, because it will hurt them mightily if it ever is exposed root and branch.

ACORN received $218,452 from the National Education Association — the teachers’ union. ACORN owns radio stations KABF and KNON.

Doesn’t mean the hearings and investigations will be real or just a whitewash to give the group cover.

Conyers is one of them. All commies, through and through. States need to step in and arrest ACORN thugs. Voter ID thwarts these ACORN marxists. Throw the League of Women Voters out of polling places. They’re all leftists. We have solutions to ACORN fraud if conservatives use them.

Start with your local elections for village council and dogcatcher. Take back your local neighborhoods and government from the leftists. It is critical that we take over local governments and establish a political base. That’s how the founders did it. Conservatives are running around like headless chickens loking for leadership, shaking their fists at the moon. Well, start with yourselves and fellow conservatives in your local government.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, New York Democrat and chairman of the Judiciary subcommittee with the jurisdiction to conduct the hearing, said he does not think Congress is the place to hear criminal charges.

"It's not our business to say ACORN is terrible or ACORN is wonderful. That's not a congressional job," Mr. Nadler said. "The evidence - I've listened to it - I think most of it is nonsense. If it's true, it's a law enforcement matter."

Conyers just wants to tie it up in an Congressional Hearing so it will not get out of hand. He as all Dem's know that this organization is designed for voter fraud, but does not want it to get into a court where they cannot "fix" it.

This is an evil attempt to exonerate Acorn and to free Acorn to perpetuate its nefarious activities.

You wonder if Conyers is a little Miffed with Obama's take over of GM, and to a lesser sense Chrysler?

Obama's ties to ACORN, and other Democrats associated with that organization, like Pelosi & Waxman. ACORN is now fair game. Since more TARP "Bail Out" & Stimulus money has been offered & distributed to ACORN, with less, or no strings attached, then what GM and Chrysler has been given, so far.

Call me a cynic, but I can’t see Democrats, any Democrats, pursuing this. I think it’s just for show. Nothing will come of it.

He wants to preempt any real investigation with a Congressional whitewash whose verdict is pre-ordained.

I'm going with the April Fools line but, just in case it is real, it will be fun watching the "Good Ol' Boy" calling the "Good Ol' Kettle - Black".

Be still my heart.

Following the Germandering of Michigan, that bozo is my Representative. His wife is a total "train wreck" as the President of the Detroit City Council.

It is like the "urban" folks running Detroit and Michigan into the dumpster, as fast as they can but stripping as much money on the way as they can.

Remember all those Senate investigations during the 1990s?

Whatever justice there used to be in the Congress of the United States, it’s now a hollow shell eaten out by political termites over the course of our nation’s history.

Expecting this investigation to go somewhere, is about as profitable as thinking you’ll get the $1 million dollar lottery call in the next 48 hours.

Another April Fools joke? If not, it will be. Any probe by Conyers would find ACORN guilty of nothing.
