With HALF of Americans dependent on the government for their livelihood and HALF of Americans who pay no federal income tax; I WISH it were just “europeanization”... it's more like America on her way to Communism.

The biggest mistake we as a nation ever made, IMHO, is in not limiting the priviledge of voting to property owners and/or people who actually pay income tax.

It goes back to FDR...once Americans became dependent on the government for their livelihood; all bets were off and the Democrat (”Mommy”) Party was off and running with a base that would guarantee their prominence in American politics ad infinitum. Now we have the ‘Rats wanting to allow illegals to be able to obtain a driver’s license when everyone knows that ANYONE from ANY COUNTRY can drive in America legally as long as they have a legal driver’s license from their home country...of course. what the ‘Rats reeeeeeeeely want is for the illegals to be able to go to the DMV and obtain an American driver’s license and then go to the next window and REGISTER TO VOTE. Voila! Another multi-millon group of voters who are dependent on the “Mommy” Party and the government for their livelihood...and the beat goes on and on and on ...

Who says “Communism is dead!”

Moral Clarity BUMP !

The problem with that argument is that 99% of Americans have already fallen into "spiritual torpor" without even having National Health Care. The great in America will still do great things no matter what Obama comes up with...they just might find themselves doing them in Shanghai or Singapore.
