Science alone will not likely defeat the rapaciousness of Washington. Any suggestions? How about a mob communal tarring and feathering of Al Gore?

The Cato Institute took out a full page ad in today’s NY Times with a list of about 50 scientists saying to President Obama that they disagreed with “global warming”. It was pretty impressive.

GIGO. (Garbage in, Garbage out.)
There are too many known variables to get an accurate reading.
Add the unknown variables, and the error factor increases by orders of magnitude.

When Americans see their electric bills go up about $3000/year due to this silliness along with Obama’s spread the wealth energy tax, he and the Demos in Washington will not be able to find a hole deep enough to hide in.

Mathematical Modeling is used throughout our world to help forecast the future in many arenas of life, including economics, We are living with proof of how well that works.

This report absolutely nails it. I have used computer models for an entire career, from modeling automobile wheel hop on vacuum tube computers in the 1960's, to modeling Washington DC subway cars on a PC yesterday. One rule has always been true: All models are inaccurate, but some are useful. When models can't even track the historical record, they fall into the "not useful" category.
The problem is that AGW is not science, it is religion. For that reason, logic does not work in dealing with climate alarmists. They cannot be convinced with facts. They must be simply driven into irrelevancy with the rest of the popular cults.

"Few challenges facing America and the world are more urgent than combating climate change. The science is beyond dispute and the facts are clear" -- Barack Obama, November 19, 2008
With all due respect Mr.President, that is not true.

You’re welcome!
I underestimated the number of scientists protesting global warming in that ad, it’s more like 100.
