At least this guy got it right:

For everybody who wants to ban guns...chew on this. On Sept 11, 2001, 19 men figured out a way to kill over 3000 people WITHOUT FIRING A SINGLE SHOT. It’s not the guns. There’s something pathological going on that makes it possible for one human being to take the life of another. Yes...guns make it easy, but if you take away guns, two things will happen. First, people who want to kill will find other ways to do it. What’s to stop some lunatic from driving a car through a crowded intersection? What are you going to do then...ban cars? The second thing that will happen will be that only law abiding citizens will give up their guns. Criminals will still have them, and a black market for weapons will explode. And the last thing I want is for the criminals to have the upper hand. I want to be able to defend myself. So...if you want to stop killing...banning guns is not the answer.
He certainly did.
Take away guns and some 23 year old POS will stab his 17 year old sister and behead his 5 year old sister with a kitchen knife. It's not the tool, it's the criminal using it.
I agree, I make that same argument frequently. I say, when then we’ll have to ban knives, steak knives, baseball bats, heck the human hand is trouble in itself.
We need to get the violent criminals off the street, those are the problem.
The lib/lefties have been mainstreaming evil in this country since WWII. In their world, everything we hold dear is anaethema to them and all that we abhor is to what they aspire.
“And the last thing I want is for the criminals to have the upper hand.”

The thing is, they vote Dem, and the legal gun owners don’t.
Been done already ... several times recently. Cars and trucks can be very effective weapons against pedestrians.
An automobile is a deadly weapon. Yet we allow nearly anyone over the age of 16 to have and use one. No one thinks twice about that. Automobile use is darn near elevated to a “right” in most people’s minds (vs. a privilege).
How many people die or are killed by automobiles in this country on a daily basis?
And don’t get me started on cigarettes.
But noooooo... Let’s take away the guns. Guns are the problem.
My a$$.
It is also interesting both of these recent shootings happened in the Bay Area - a region, no doubt, where concealed carry is readily issued and every other citizen carries... Obviously, right? :-)
Fantastic reply. I sure hope the guy is a freeper.
