I hate when they talk about Milli Vanilli. They were a talented duet that got very bad advice from their handlers. One of them committd suicide.

In some respect, Milli Vanilli brought it on themselves. “Handlers” or not — they sought to get rich by perpetrating a fraud on the public. They got caught. They knew what they were doing was wrong, but allowed themselves to be talked into it because of promises of fame and fortune. Pride comes before the fall.
It is a shame that one of them committed suicide.

Milli Vanilli was talented at WHAT exactly? Dancing around in bike shorts while lip syncing songs that musicians with actual talent wrote and performed?

His death was ruled accidental drug overdose - why do you say he committed suicide?

Milli Vanilli didn’t have the talent. They were puppets. Other people sang and the media knew about it.
The Grammy was given to them and the songs weren’t that great.
The media industry is a culture of corruption and they have given us our first Red president.

Milli Vanilli was a duo from the late 1980s and early 1990s who rose to superstardom but were forced to give back a Grammy when the public discovered that they didnt sing their own songs. The 'public' had very little to do with it. It was more the Grammy nominating committee covering it's collective butts. They had to know about it beforehand, too. It wasn't an uncommon practice then, and I suspect it still goes on to some degree.
