Women's Right to Vote, the Beginning of the End for America?
Chico Enterprise Record ^ | 3/29/09 | OneVike

From the day the founding Fathers risked their liberty and life by signing the Declaration of Independence, there has been those who have wanted to sink this great ship called the United States of America. Well 143 years later the good ship America took a torpedo hit that at the time seemed like just another glancing blow. What many still consider the greatest step forward in equality for the sexes, was more then just a glancing blow however. It was in fact a deadly strike that entered the very heart of the ship and has been smoldering since. The damage caused by the 19th amendment was slow in its destruction, but after almost 100 years we can now see how complete the destruction really was.

I thought that you were a foreigner and now I find out that you are an American and that Obama is your president, I was surprised is all.

I said the United States of America affects the whole world.

I'm still waiting for you to make a contribution here at FR.

You seem to be a 'shinola' disturber. JMHO.

“And all men have always voted conservatively? Is that it?”

No “all men” have not always voted conservatively. However on balance, men have voted overwhelmingly and consistently conservative while unfortunately having their votes cancelled out and overrun by the votes of women who have voted consistently for the left-leaning candidate. And the end result is the continuing degradation of the country.

Are you an American, since you posted to me as one I would like to clarify it because I was under the impression that you aren’t.

A bit emotional?

Guess what, fellas? Tough luck. Women vote. Get over it.

Do you think that the Heavenly Father approved of women being given the right to vote? And I did read the article. I would like to know if your thinking is strictly limited to the history of this nation, or if you come to your conclusion from a wider perspective.

Yeah, you’re still burning from yesterday’s torching on this thread, not just by me but by many. So, nice try, but the truth hurts, which explains your reactions.

It appears you are the only one who thinks so, Raptor. It’s a shame you are so bitter.

They should still require that you own property, and pay taxes in order to vote. Too many freeloaders electing the politician who promises the most free stuff.

If you aren’t an American then do me a favor and don’t try to imply that in your posts to me in the future.

Good question, and I respect you highly for asking.

In a perfect world, God would think it was OK for women to vote. See then they would honor their husbands and the husbands would honor their wives.

Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world, we live in a fallen world and I look at history as it is not as it could have been. I'll tell you what else that might surprise you. Even if we never ever changed one thing about the constitution,(Slavery by the way would have been ended without a war and without an amendment) in due time we would have screwed everything up anyway. Men have a habit of doing that. (By men I mean both men and women, so I mean people)

This was an exercise in what if, because I never said we should reverse that which is already here. Only IF we could change back the clock of time. OK, so people say they read the article, then what ever happened to reading comprehension in this country?

Show me where I said I was an American.

You are very tiresome.

If you were here on FR to further the cause of Conservatism, you wouldn’t be nearly as agressive as you are.

Hmmm.

My wife Mrs. OneVike, asked me when she read this, "Why do you insist on messing with the hornet nets?". I looked at her and said with a smile, Because it's fun. Well anyway, this should be fun. 1 posted on Sunday, March 29, 2009 7:51:07 PM by OneVike [ Post Reply | Private Reply | View Replies | Report Abuse]

I am no mind reader but could well be that this first post set the 'stage' for what kind of responses were made, then each subsequent post fed off each other.

A conservative web site of this size and general influence that was made up of mostly females would be a national story as would if the Washington Times or the National Review or Weekly Standard being female publications with a minority male audience.

Yes, and if we had a presidential candidate, or *gasp* a President who refused to produce his original birth certificate, and school records, the MSM would be all over that too. /sarc

“You are very tiresome.”

What gets tiresome is your constant throwing around of personal insults on just about every thread you visit, try to stay focused more on the topics.

You bother to post that to me after seeing post 332.

She led me to believe that she is American, I don’t like being misled on FR by posters so I tried to clear it up and ran into attitude rather than clarification.

You’ll know ‘bitter’ all too soon, unfortunately, if things keep going the way they are going. And while you’ll coast along with your head in the clouds, pardon me while I recognize things are a little more serious than that.
