From the day the founding Fathers risked their liberty and life by signing the Declaration of Independence, there has been those who have wanted to sink this great ship called the United States of America. Well 143 years later the good ship America took a torpedo hit that at the time seemed like just another glancing blow. What many still consider the greatest step forward in equality for the sexes, was more then just a glancing blow however. It was in fact a deadly strike that entered the very heart of the ship and has been smoldering since. The damage caused by the 19th amendment was slow in its destruction, but after almost 100 years we can now see how complete the destruction really was.

Ilgipper’s post is the real crux of the matter. It’s the existence of universal, unrestricted suffrage.
The big problem is uniformed, disengaged DULLARDS in concentrated population centers who blindly follow the paper messiahs who promise them (in the words of Jefferson) generous benefits from the public treasury.
Any uninformed person with a room temperature IQ (like those that the vulgarian Howard Stern interviewed last fall) should not be allowed to vote. The democrat party is dependent upon their existence and unfortunately there are far too many of them.
Claiming that FR is majority female is saying that it is a female site with a minority male presence.
“There are a lot of women at FR. People get the impression that all women are liberal by standing at the checkout and reading the chick magazine headlines. A lot of women believe and know that:
The fluff magazine industry is run by fema-nzai’s. Thinking women don’t take them to heart.
True freedom is knowing that you can be a SAHM or a CEO.
Every human has emotions. Women just don’t hide them.
We do think before we vote. The media just doesn’t report on what conservative women think.”
I agree with you.
Thanks Army Marine Mom.
The statement was "half or more".
If ones goes into a restaurant that has half or more 'female' patrons, that doesn't make it a 'female' restaurant.
"Everyone knows who have meet Freepers knows that FReerublic is more than half women."
That is Earthdweller's opinion. Even if FR is made up of more than 50% women, it doesn't make it a woman's site, and Earthdweller never said it was a woman's site.
It is a conservative site.
You are the one saying that if FR's population is more than 50% women, that makes it a "woman's site".
Would that bother you Ansel12?
I am a girl. I plan on staying that way, too.
“That is Earthdweller’s opinion. “
It is earthdwellers claim that she clings to and tries to prove with her personal anecdotes.
A conservative web site of this size and general influence that was made up of mostly females would be a national story as would if the Washington Times or the National Review or Weekly Standard being female publications with a minority male audience.
Someone could check with JimR. He would have a general idea.
What say you Jim?
Close to 50-50 male and female here on FR?
Yes, and if we had a presidential candidate, or *gasp* a President who refused to produce his original birth certificate, and school records, the MSM would be all over that too. /sarc

The respondents in the "How Obama Got Elected" survey video (in which the BO voters displayed deep ignorance of civics and current events) included men as well as women.
My point exactly. I don’t care what your gender or ethnicity is. If you’re a disengaged dullard, dolt, dee-dee-dee, or other form of DUMBASS, I don’t want you participating in the electoral process because we end up getting empty-suit Bolsheviks like Barack Obama elected President...Nancy “Stretch” Pelosi to Congress...Ted “Swimmer” Kennedy or Robert “Sheets” Byrd to the Senate...and Populist RINOS like John McCain nominated for candidacy.
Jim just sent me this link which monitors website usage:
http://www.quantcast.com/freerepublic.com
Unsure of it’s accuracy though:
It states 57% are male, 43% are female
It says 84% are passer-byers
3% are addicts
13% are regulars
It also shows 69% have no children (how they know this, I have no idea).
She doesn't have to vote now? Why doesn't she just set the example and quit voting right away?
So give it up already. No one is forcing you to vote. Don't be a hypocrite and keep on voting when you think that it's destroying the country.
After all, all those men like schummie and Bawney Fwank and clinton are not going to think like hormone crazed women, are they? The world would be so much better off with men in charge and making all the decisions, right?

Where’s that “Attention Whore” picture when I need it?
Sounds like this whole thread in a nutshell. The American Taliban in action. You know that it's also our fault that men rape women because they dress so provocatively that the men can't help themselves. Next on the docket is burquas for all us ladies. That'll help lower the crime rate we've driven up as well.
Of course, giving women the right to vote really screwed up the country, you know. It was such a paradise until then. You know, no corruption in business or politics, no wars, no taxes, none of the kinds of evils that now exist since women got the vote.
Blame-shifting because men abdicated their responsibilities is such the man's way out, you know.
And all men have always voted conservatively? Is that it?
