I always felt Mormons took a lot of heat here, BUT they got a fair, honest and OPEN forum to state their views and beliefs.

In fact it was more than OPEN. Mormons, among other groups like Catholics, can and did post in protected forums (devotional/caucus)where their theology could go unchallenged and unrebutted. That IMHO is bending over backwards and a credit to FR.

Not so. Or more so, depending on outlook.
Check out how many threads are posted using the magic words “devotional”
or “caucus”.. that means no conflicting opinion will be allowed.
Comments are deleted. It’s a kind of bizarre cowardice and usage
of rules to gain a bully pulpit. No other group does this
to such an extent.

I don’t know what that site is or who started it but I am disappointed that someone would think practcing LDS would behave like the anti mainstream.

very hurtful and disappointing what is one who is LDS suppose to think when they read something like this one don’t donate $50 to a site they are trying to bankrupt!

Agreed they took heat but it's not because of FR. The admin and religion mods have tried to keep the crazy kooks who hate Mormons in line. There are about 3-4 who are absolutely insane with their hated of Mormons. I have no idea why.

I cannot understand why they would blame that on FR. I always had alot of respect for Mormons, having had a few friends of that religious persuasion and I'm surprised and disappointed they would be so vindictive.

I agree Durango the Mormons here did take heat - some from me. Mostly when they lied or misrepresented the Church's teachings. If they cannot separate Romney from dogma that is their problem.
