An Athens appeals court acquitted a well-known Greek neo-Nazi of Holocaust denial.
The five-member court on Friday found Kostas Plevris not guilty of "incitement to racial hatred and violence against the Jews" over his 1,400-page book "Jews -- The Whole Truth," which denies the Holocaust and is blatantly anti-Semitic.
Plevris had been convicted in December 2007 and sentenced to 14 months in prison, as well as three years probation.
The Greek Jewish umbrella organization, the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece, in a news release said the court's decision "saddens, perplexes and causes concern among citizens of a modern democratic society as a self-confessed promoter of Nazism and racism remains unpunished though he not only distorts proven historical evidence, but even worse, uses his pen to incite hatred and provoke discrimination and violence against citizens of Greece and Europe."
In the book, Plevris calls Jews "sub-human" and writes, "I constantly blame the German Nazis for not ridding our Europe of Jewish Zionism when it was in their power to do so." He also urges his readers to "Free yourselves from Jewish propaganda that deceives you with falsehoods about concentration camps, gas chambers, 'ovens' and other fairy tales about the pseudo-holocaust."

He’d fit right in on Pacifica Radio.
Write an anti-islamic text and see what happens...

Must be angling for job in BOs cabinet.
coming to an Obama regime near you.
In a free society, idiots must have their say, too.
You have posted several strange theories in the two days you’ve been here.
You know this about him yet you cannot spell his name, Rahm Emanuel?
Very curious.
Same for Gitener and all the otehr supposed Jews in his cabinet.
You know this about him yet you cannot spell his name, Timothy Geithner?
Very curious.
I don’t know whether to cheer or weep. The jury might be rejecting the premise of the anti-HD laws in a stand for free speech. Or they might be rejecting the premise of the anti-HD laws because they think it has some credence.
I’d have to know more in order to know how to react.
Making the denial of the Holocaust a crime is a dangerous thing. With all of the evidence that clearly shows that the Holocaust did indeed happen,to deny it brands the denier as an idiot. That should be punishment enough.
If they would only do this for the people that deny GOD, ATHEISTS!!
I am saddened and disappointed that the Jewish community of Greece, which one would think would be outside the liberalism that has engulfed 'Ashkenazic Jewry for the past two centuries, would agitate for the outlawing anti-Semitism in the name of "democracy." Does "democracy" have a chosen people?
I'm all for outlawing anti-Semitism, but in the Name of G-D, not in the name of any secular political ideology. Only Noachism, the universal acknowledgment of the Jewish G-d and the Jewish Election, provides the answer to anti-Semitism. Why have so many Jews hitched their wagons to democracy, secularism, and "enlightenment?"
I also wonder if the Greek Jewish community, like those in the West, go purple in the face at Holocaust denial but utter not a peep at Biblical criticism. If so, shame on them.
I don't know who this "ImaRealCon" fellow is or what he posted, but Emanuel's name in Hebrew is "Ram"--re'sh-mem. There's no heh there. I assume the "h" is placed in the English spelling merely to prevent it from being pronounced like the male sheep.
The Hebrew word ram means high or exalted.
That's good, but we are working in English.
That would be the language in question used by the poster
in question who misspelled the names of both people referenced.

I sometimes transliterate Hebrew names and words very literally, and have called him "Ram `Immanu'el" myself.
