Folks, I heartily recommend that you become regular readers of DL Foster’s important blog, Gay Christian Movement Watch, analyzing and monitoring the so-called “gay christian” movement. DL gets attacked often by loving and tolerant homosexual activists because he tells it like it is. (Speaking of which, renegade Christian and Grove City College prof Warren Throckmorton now seems to be on a crusade against pro-family veteran Scott Lively — joined by Warren’s homosexuality-promoting buddies, of course. We think Warren ought to deal with that heretical log in his own eye – Throckmorton agreed in a 2007 interview with “gay” activist Mike Signorile that “being gay” is “normal, natural and healthy” — before picking at the speck in Scott’s.)
But I digress. Below Foster comments on the sad irony that less than a year before his death, George Weber — who was murdered by a 16-year-old boy he hooked up with for sex — complained about evangelical Christians witnessing at an airport. “Jesus freaks,” he called them. DL is right: many of America’s problems can be traced to the fact that there is so little fear of God in this nation.
There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12).
Who can doubt that if Weber had stopped and listened to those “Jesus freaks” in the airport and allowed the Gospel of grace to penetrate his heart and change his life, he likely would have escaped putting himself in the dangerous circumstances that exposed him to a sadomasochistic, teenage, sex-crazed murderer. Family of slain NY reporter Weber asks for help

NEW YORK—The family of a newsman who was stabbed to death in his home is asking anyone with information on his killing to come forward.
George Weber was found at his Brooklyn apartment on Sunday with his ankles bound with duct tape. Police believe he was killed Friday.
Investigators on Tuesday were trying to determine whether Weber knew his killer, and they were looking for suspects, New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne said.
Weber, 47, is survived by his brother, sister and parents, all of whom live out of state. The relatives on Tuesday issued their first public comments on his death, saying they were devastated by the loss but grateful for the outpouring of support.
"He was truly a caring person who lived and was loved by all he met," his family said in the statement, released by his most recent employer, ABC News Radio.
The family said Weber, known as Jordy, loved New York and its people.
"His passion for radio journalism was evident from his early years and only grew the longer he worked," it said.
The family asked anyone with information on his killing to call authorities, and it thanked the police department for its "tireless efforts" to find his killer.
Weber worked for WABC for 12 years as the on-air reporter for popular shows including "Curtis and Kuby in the Morning." The station let him go amid programming changes last year, and he had since worked as a freelancer for ABC News Radio, the Advertisement national network. His last newscast was on March 15.
He was reported missing by his boss when he didn't show up for a shift Saturday. Police discovered him in the bedroom of his ground-floor apartment in a three-story brownstone in the sleepy Carroll Gardens neighborhood. Water was left running in a sink and a tub, possibly to clean up the crime scene, police said.
Weber was a veteran radio newsman who worked at stations including KGO in San Francisco and KTLK and KMPC in Los Angeles before moving to New York.

Suspect in George Weber murder demands cash for interview
The disturbed teen charged with murdering a radio reporter in Brooklyn went berserk Saturday at Bellevue Hospital when asked for his side of the story.
“Cash offers only!” yelled 16-year-old John Katehis as hospital security guards led him out of the visiting room.
Katehis is accused of stabbing WABC reporter George Weber 50 times in the neck and body on March 20 after agreeing to meet up for rough sex.
The teen has been charged as an adult with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
A school friend described Katehis as “quiet.”
“He was always quiet, except if he had to answer a question in class,” said Daniel Rongo, 19, who was at Bellevue to visit his schoolmate.
“When I heard his name on the news, I had like a short panic attack,” Rongo said. “I thought ‘No, this can’t be.’ I had to come ask him, ‘Why?’”
Rongo never got his answer. Katehis refused to see him.
Rongo said the accused teen never acted violently at school or expressed a fetish for knives.
“John was never the fighting type,” Rongo said. “I don’t think anyone was afraid of him. I wished he would explain to me why. This is not usually him.”
But Katehis’ MySpace page tells a different story. It’s plastered with photos of the troubled teen with a variety of knives and a disturbing list of hobbies including roof-hopping and violent video games.
Except, of course, the teenager who killed him.

I never would have thought that George Weber was gay. He did not sound, act or even talk like an effeminate person. We live in such a confusing world.
Yet many of us here like me that had never heard of the guy, were sure upon seeing the first description of the murder that he was a homosexual.
So all the research that Throckmorton did proving the practice of perversion is a choice, unhealthy and still should be classified a paraphilic disorder was wrong? Has he submitted new research overturning his old?

I hadn't either till I read in the article by Peter LaBarbera you posted here that Throckmorton thinks that “being gay” is “normal, natural and healthy”. LaBarbera is a credible source wouldn't you agree? I've read much of Throckmorton's research and if what LaBarbera says is true he's got a lot of credibility issues.

Grove City Prof Warren Throckmorton Affirms Homosexuality as ‘Normal, Natural and Healthy’
Below is an excerpt from Grove City College associate professor Warren Throckmorton’s July 2007 radio interview with well-known homosexual activist Mike Signorile, on Signorile’s show on the Sirius satellite radio network:
WARREN THROCKMORTON: The aim of Sexual Identity Therapy is a satisfied life - a client who believes that they have come to an integration of their conflicts, and we’re, by the way, only talking about people who are in conflict.
MIKE SIGNORILE: So you think it is normal, natural and healthy for people who come out and accept that being homosexual — accept being gay — and completely have no issues with their religious faith — you believe — would you describe the words as [strong emphasis by Signorile] “normal, natural and healthy” – that that is fine?
THROCKMORTON: Yes. Yes, I have been very clear about that in my public statements, that the efforts to demonize people who accept their homosexuality and come out as gay have been futile. The research–[Signorile cuts him off] …
