This country needs more people like them because the liberals all want us to go on welfare and stop working. but this country erally needs the leadership of MITT ROMNEY. he will be our first Mormon president too, proving that the GOP is not bigotted.

Hey, newbie, I think you are on the WRONG forum...here's the memo:

Romney is a big government socialist/abortionist liberal. I’ll never endorse him or support him on FR or allow him to be promoted on FR. If Romney ever becomes the Republican nominee for President, I will actively campaign against him.

McCain was bad enough. No more RINOS!!!

I will continue building my Romney truth file just in case.

Thankyouverymuch.

This country needs more people like them because the liberals all want us to go on welfare and stop working. but [sic] this country erally [sic] needs the leadership of MITT ROMNEY [sic]. he [sic] will be our first Mormon president too, proving that the GOP is not bigotted [sic].

The reason some don't want to vote Republican is not because they think Republicans are bigoted, but because they don't think the Republicans will shell out the free cash. If the Republicans were to nominate the Democrats' own leading candidate to prove they weren't "bigotted" it would be described simply as a ploy to get votes (from those least likely to vote for a Republican anyway). We've already seen that aping the Democrats in spending (Bush), sharing committee leadership positions, expanding a federal role in education (Bush/Kennedy), campaign finance reform (McCain), a new tone (Bush and McCain) has done nothing to make Democrats or "moderates" want to vote for the Republican candidate.

The biggest wins the Republicans have had since WWII were voting for Ronald Reagan, a candidate who made a clear distinction between the government (necessary parasite) of the United States and the United States (the people and all their voluntary activities that are the nation and the only means of generating revenue for the government) and put the emphasis on the health, welfare, and liberty of the people. Everyone back then had a clear idea that if you put too many people into the non-productive side of the economy (the parasitical government side), you will destroy the nation. The socialists have known this but never assented to it. Look at Romney yucking it up with the other plutocrats as he signs a big-government spending bill and you'll see the schmuck for what he is.

So, in trying to promote him as the hope of the GOP (the second coming of McCain?), you really do live up to your name: ImARealCon.
