LAKEVILLE, Minnesota (CNN) – John McCain heard boos at a town hall meeting Friday night after the Republican presidential nominee called for the crowd to be more respectful towards rival Barack Obama.
“We would like you to remain a true American hero,” an elderly military veteran told him. “We want you to fight.”
“I will fight, but we will be respectful,” McCain said. “I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments and I will respect him.”
When the crowd began to boo, McCain told them “No, no. I want everyone to be respectful.”

Y'all just don't get it. I'm not for McCain, LOL. I'm just disappointed in the vituperative, emotional display here on FR, from those so quick to condemn others for the same behavior. Years ago, this type of thing was a slap in the face here, now it is the norm. Do you all think that it is a step in the right direction for the cause, to lower yourselves to your opponents’ level? The rants you all display are no better than the Dims, no better at all. You mar any credibility you could have with uncontrolled language and hate. You now are no better than the other side. Yep. If you are for enforcing immigration laws, you hate immigrants and are a racist. If you think marriage is between a man and a woman, you hate gays and are a homophobe. If you don’t embrace FTAs 100%, you hate capitalism and are a protectionist. If you question interventionist foreign policy, you are a muslim lover and hate America. If you are criticize RINOs, you hate them... or you are bashing them and supporting Obama.

And how influential is that? O'Reilly has an audience of 3.5 million and most of them are Reps. The Dems have demonized the entire Fox network.
