I don’t know about you but I’d be PO’d if another woman talked to me like that. It is like they are pointing out you weaknesses and disappointment to everybody. I wouldn’t take it as a friendship or commiseration, I’d feel like she was one-upping me.

Well, shoot! I was going to vote for her till I read that!

I know it's time for Perry to go, but we don't need a Hitlery sycophant running this state!

I would think Texans, I am one of those, would want someone stronger to lead their state. I never saw Hutchison as a strong willed leader type.

You pick among those who are running. She was the strongest of the bunch at the time.

Well, that does it for me on Kay Bailey. I didn’t see all of this and wont’ either as we choose not to watch “junk” on TV. But to hear of her praise of hilllreee...well, add another name to the list. I wouldn’t donate one thin dime to anyone anymore. If they want to get elected or reelected they can damn well do it on their own dime! They don’t do what we know they should anyway so...why throw good money at a losing cause?

“That character is why you are secretary of state today.”

No Kay, she is Secretary of State to keep her from running against the One.

Everybody is an outsider in Texas politics. Meanwhile the outsiders are likely praying, God grant us no more Lyndon Johnsons and no more Bush! As for KBHutch, as I recall when asked some years back if she had her choice to vote for a woman for senator would she do so, she responded she would regardless of party. Now I wouldn’t wish that woman on anyone, but at least it looks like we will have her out of national politics. Now lets see what doofus the Texas Republican Party foists on America.

"You were completely devastated and you never let it show on your face," Hutchison said during the forum. "That character is why you are secretary of state today."

Well, I choose to interpret it as a veiled insult.

After all, the 'Toon was seeking the office of POTUS, not the office of Chief Suckup To The World, which is what she ended up with.

Having said that, I say now that I could care less what Kay Bailey Hutchinson does.

She's your problem, Texas, please keep her there.

Every time I have seen her or heard her, she reminded me of women I have known who were what we used to call “two-faced”,

Well, as a guy, I see her as "two-faced" as well. There are a lot more women than men who cannot stand her, so it may be women's' intuition.

They’d act like your best friend to your face, and probably sleep with your husband if they got the chance!

The saying of "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" does not apply in her case. OUCH on the part I underlined.

I have not believed in KBH since she said there should be more women in the senate, and she would support ANY woman, regardless of party.

I think she is losing a lot of votes for saying anything good about Hillary.

Mort Konkracke and Fred Barnes recommended Kay Bailey as the Veep for the evenutal GOP nominee in Dec 2007.

Since primaries are open in Texas, Kay Bailey is hopping to attract independents and Democrats to cross over and vote for her. That is why she is bashing Palin and praising Hillary.
