...they can keep him.
He has the nerve to show his face in the U.K. after the snub to their P.M.?
He’s coming to get his DVDs back.
Wondering if he’s going to walk that walk my wife and myself witnessed tonight on ? network “news” channel as he approached the podium to speak about Afghanistan?
She watches TV, was flicking channels trying in vain to find something, anything to watch. I don’t watch TV, but I turned around from the ‘puter screen in time to witness something akin to a bowling alley warmup movement, along with some sort of hip hop gate in his walk to the podium.
Once he was at the podium, he put on his “composed expression”, and....she flicked the channel again...buh bye Obama.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a remote that could do that, and perhaps instill as President a real one? With a flick of a button our problems would be solved....>>POP<<.. Oh yeah, it’s late. I must have dozed off and was dreaming.
Oh goody! Germany again?
Can we whip up some more creepy chanting from the german crowds? pretty please?
He’ll be needing that.
I hope he gets treated like he treated their PM.
You're kidding right? The article says £ 20 million. It's not clear whether that's the U.K. portion, the U.S. portion, or both. It's probably not both. When Obama visited Ottawa for 7 hours, that cost the Canadian government over $10 million (security, etc.).
Probably misplaced the Indonesian one.
I think in Germany...Obama may have lost half of his luster....although there is still 50 percent of the public heavily in his favor. The big issue is that any speech he makes...and thinks that it helps the Social Democrats in the fall election....is sadly miscalculating.
The German media stood up shortly after Xmas and asked who is the “German Obama”....and the SPD has no one of his standing, caliber or speech-making ability. But...there is the slightly right-leaning guy...Guido Westerwelle of the FDP party...who appears to be taking every single ounce of Obama energy in Germany for himself. The FDP guys have soared up in the ratings and probably can get around 17 percent of the public vote in September.
Toss in the fact that almost all economical experts in Germany have negative ideas about the Obama rescue plan...and the idea that the war still continues on (more so in Afghanistan)...and there is this smirk on the faces of German faces when the guy pops.
Neat Post- Jet Jaguar!
