Many Obama supporters decry what they view as unfair criticism by conservatives this early in his Administration. He has only been in office for little over 60 days, give him a chance they plead.
If the criticism of Obama is unduly harsh, as many of his supporters claim, it is only because the standards established by his followers, and against which he should ultimately be judged, have been so unrealistically high. It was Obama's supporters, who, despite an abundance of evidence to the contrary, falsely hailed him as not merely a candidate for the presidency, but as a transcendent figure, post-racial, post-partisan, with remarkable qualities to unite us and heal the nation. They placed him on a marble pedestal replete with all the splendor reserved for Greek Gods. And all this was based upon what? That he enraptured an audience with his soaring speeches?
Throughout the campaign, Obama himself chose not to disabuse his adoring

Odumbo’s a PU$$Y...
Well, since no one criticized him BEFORE he was foisted upon the public, what are we supposed to do? This is still America and it should reaffirm our faith in our country — Republicans and Democrats alike are not exempt — and they thought Baseball was our national pastime. GO AMERICA!!!
No.. we are not being hard enough on him or the Congress.
No, they are being too easy. The man is incompetent and stupid and dangerous and should not be in any office.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Critics of 0bama aren’t being nearly as tough on him as he is being tough on America.
In 1968 Bobby Kennedy said; Some men dream things that are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not.” As catchy and plagiarized as that quote was, it shifted the paradigm for assessing a black presidential candidate. The opposition now had to prove the negative. In a once unimaginable possibility, color trumped all other advocacy's and special statuses. And, for too many in the Main Stream Media, this was just too big a story get in the way of.
The special tragedy for America is that, although there are many black and minority candidates who would do well in this position, in this time in history or any other, we have an incompetent left wing ideologue.
I’ll give him as much chance as the dems did for Bush.
No, it's because some of us are silly enough to think that the libs ought to apply the same standards to Obama that they did to Bush. Personally I plan on insisting on it and reminding them when they don't.
In politics perception is reality - we need to keep the pressure on!
I like to ask “ are you better off now or were you better off pre 2006 before the Democrats took over the country.
Ask Larry Sinclair. He knows all about that.
The criticism levied against “FEARLESS LEADER” pales into a lovefest compared to the hysterical criticism heaped upon President Bush. Every statement, every policy, every smile, every belief of Bush was vilified, ridiculed, made fun of, questioned and labeled as lies. His WIFE and his CHILDREN were made to be objects of scorn.
A man whose policies kept this country safe for several years is to be forgotten.
The man we now have, as he creates a disaster, as he defends the financial catastrophe instigated by his own party is to be left alone.
If I remember, a former (thankfully) first lady screeched that is an American’s PATRIOTIC DUTY to speak out, to protest, and to complain about things we do not like. IMHO...we are merely being PATRIOTIC.
