" If someone wants to grab my purse, I can freely let it go. They won't get much, and I will be safe and can hurry to unlock my car and get out of there fast. They won't even have my address or any information from ID cards."

OK, so what happens when the robber looks in your purse and he is PISSED OFF at you that there's no money in there?

Food for thought.

Well, actually, those guys grab and run. They don't stand there to look in the purses they take. They don't want to be identified, or have others come to the rescue of the person they stole from. They are gone in a flash.

If a person has their keys in their pocket, they can get in the car and be out of sight and get home or to the police. The robber will probably have run blocks away before looking in the purse and tossing it in the garbage.

That gives her enough time to get her Glock out of her fannypack.
