Saw this on another thread, but it’s worth the duplicate!
Attention GOP: This is how you grow a pair!

Every British child born owing GBP 20,000? Lower than an US child, by the time Zero is done.

In Fiscal Year 2008, the U. S. Government spent $412 Billion of your money on interest payments* to the holders of the National Debt. Compare that to NASA at $15 Billion, Education at $61 Billion, and Department of Transportation at $56 Billion. -- As of 28 February 2009, the total interest spent so far this fiscal year is $148 Billion.

If Obama doubles the national debt during his four years, we will be spending almost a $1 trillion just to service the debt.

How well-spoken. Would that our own representatives could rise to this level of intelligence and outspokenness.

Bravo!

The UK may be worse off than the rest of the EU but I doubt there are worse off than us. I wonder where Gordon (Obama Jr.) Brown stands with the British electorate right now.

After today’s gilt auction failed, I’d say Gordon Brown ought to be brought up on a confidence vote in Parliament.

Stick a fork in him, he is done.

No kidding, this needs to be seen by every person in the U.S., the very same things could be said about our situation. This outdoes Sarah Palin’s GOP convention speech. And he did it without a teleprompter.

When is someone in the U.S. going to stand up to Barack Obama like this?

Not the British Parliament. Hannan is a MEP, not MP. This was a visit by Brown to address the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
