Once liberal egalitarians got into the mess of big money, they lost any credibility about championing the old blue-collar ethos; once Wall Street ceased being capitalist, we began to lose capitalism.

The "egalitarians" no longer care about the little guys.
Wall Street no longer cares about free markets.

We now live in a a Fascist or a Mercantile system. There is an upper class which makes the rules to benefit themselves and they expect us, and our children, to slave for them and support their priviledged lifestyles.

America is gone.

"How surreal that liberals continue to rail about capitalist grasping..."

Pelosi, Barney Frank, and Obama seem to want an Abu Ghraib for capitalists. And Barney is all too willing to administer the "Thank you, Sir, may I have another" spankings. Suddenly, it's Rush Week for executives. Pun intended.

‘while below in the Oakland flatlands, the cops who died had to suffer it’s consequences.’

Brilliant. The more I read, the more I like. Somewhat reminds me of Joe Sobran.
