My wife watches CNN every morning when she gets up. She tells me she can distinguish their lies from their news, to which I reply, “What news?” A lot of us live in mixed marriages. My middle daughter is a theatre kid and wants us to all become homosexuals. She and her mother agree most of the time. My oldest and youngest and my step son agree with me. I'll take three out of four.

When we married, she and her parents were Ford Republicans. I was a Reagan Democrat who hated Ford and voted for Carter. I was eighteen. Forgive me.

There's a point where we have to have faith in our Creator. I don't have that many years left, but I remember a lot of us were worked up in similar fashion at Clinton, Waco, Ruby Ridge, the ATF, Mena, et al. back in 1993-94. We all voted and went back to sleep. We see the results of our slumber.

I ran into a couple of Obama zombies at dinner the other night. They rushed right into a conversation about their king, believing no one could possibly disagree with them.

The husband was in the military, making it all quite frightening. The generous benefits given our military people have convinced them that everyone should have similar health care, etc.

My middle daughter is an Obot. She waves her arms furiously to stop conversation when I enter the room.
