They are trying to create a "moderate" Republican woman to eventually be the new Sarah Palin. They have a lot of work to do. First, she has to drop the irritating voice. Then she has to get a brain, like, you know?

That's the whole point--she's just like daddy in that she thinks the media actually CARES what she has to say, but in reality, they're sticking her in front of a camera as evidence of how "dumb" conservatives are and how "mavericky" she is; i.e., screws over the conservative base.
