Is the City Council going to Bail Out the businesses who will be affected by this? If I lived in Long Beach, which will never happen, I'd take a short drive South to Orange County and purchase my ammo there.

The law of unintended consequences in action once again. Less sales tax revenue for the city, less business license fees and increased unemployment will follow.

And even the proposition of this, whether it passes or not will clean the nations store shelves of ammo again. (but that’s ok, good to BLOAT!) Now, in order to keep everything in order, make it so criminals can call in and register thier ammo before commiting a crime. Or maybe arrange it so they can register it by mail after they commit a crime, Wow! maybe register it online in comfort of thier own govt. apartment after the holdup!

I live in Long Beach, but I buy my ammo in OC.

The LA County sales tax is going up to 10% April 1st, so I will be making ALL large purchases in the OC from now on.
