The Huffington Post's New Obsession: CNBC
NewsBusters ^ | March 23, 2009 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 03/23/2009 2:49:53 PM PDT by Rufus2007

It's the latest ailment of the left - CNBC derangement syndrome.

Since CNBC's Rick Santelli and Jim Cramer took an outspoken stance on the shortcomings of the Obama administration, left-wing storefronts have been popping up all over the place wanting to capitalize on the network after it took a vicious attack from Comedy Central "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart.

After CNBC "Squawk on the Street" co-host Mark Haines took on a couple of sanctimonious Democratic congressmen, Reps. Brad Sherman, Calif., and Charles Rangel, N.Y., for being advocates of a 90-percent retroactive tax on bonuses, he has found himself as the subject of a main headline on the Huffington Post on March 23, for being concerned about some of the populist rhetoric promoting compensation limits after wrapping up an interview with Nick Debenedictus, the CEO of Aqua America (NYSE:WTR).

There must be some sort of willingness for these moonbats on the left to give money for bashing CNBC because it is everywhere.

Jim Cramer has “got his mind right” and has already publicly repented on his cartoon show, extoling how King Obozo listened and made changes, something that Bush never did, yada yada ...

Santelli has tasted the bile of non-acceptance and threats by the Leftist thugs, is hiding in the tall grass, and has nothing further bad to say about der Fuhrer in public.

Santelli has said enough. Isn't it ironic you say,:

Santelli has tasted the bile of non-acceptance and threats by the Leftist thugs, is hiding in the tall grass, and has nothing further bad to say about der Fuhrer in public.

as you hide behind a screen name on an anonymous blog. Pa-leese. The guy showed stones and risked his entire livelihood doing so.

Well, since George W. Bush isn’t around, they have to find SOMETHING about which to obsess, that doesn’t involve the Democrats.

You are very misinformed. FR is NOT a blog. It is a forum. And I’m not “hiding” anywhere.

I appreciate what Santelli said, but he has gone quiet now. That’s his choice. I just stated facts.

You are anonymous no matter what web site you are on when you use a screen name and it is ironic when an ‘anonymous’ person attacks someone who has come our publicly at risk of losing his job on hiding out after the fact. Focus as you like on the smaller non details. Them's the large fact and all that matters in the end. It is not only the height of irony, but of hypocrisy.

One by one all of the news sources will abandon Obama if they want to survive. Obama’s polices are failure and the longer any of them try to prop him up will be sucide for that news source.HP will be in meltdown mode in a year when hate for BO’s polices replaces BDS.

I don’t notice you printing your real name and contact address in your tag line, Mister-critical-of-me-for-posting-using-a-screen-name.

I didn’t attack Santelli. Once again, I stated a fact about him. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you want to start calling me a hypocrite for expressing an opinion about a public figure on a public forum, then:

1) you should read the FR rule about “NO personal attacks”,

and 2) read just about any thread here and you will find opinions expressed about public figures. It’s part of what goes on here and on all forums.
