U.S. court tells FDA to rethink Plan B contraceptive Mon Mar 23, 2009 3:06pm EDT

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A U.S. court on Monday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to reconsider its decisions on the sale of the Plan B emergency contraceptive and ordered its producer to make the pills available to 17-year-olds without a prescription.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, in a 52-page ruling, said its order to make Plan B available to 17-year-olds under the same conditions it is currently available to older women must be complied with within 30 days.

The controversial Plan B, also known as the morning after pill, is now available without a prescription to women 18 and over to reduce the risk of unwanted pregnancy after sexual intercourse. Women 17 and under have been required to get a prescription for the drug.

No. FOrget it. I want all the plan B out there possible. I want abortions available in portable toilets. Let these scumbags butcher their children. I can’t be bothered any more - I’m up to my rear end defending my own children. I can’t save theirs. Neither can you, if you want to be honest about it. Let them abort away, and turn our energies to other issues.

Yea, they’ll rethink it alright. They will start offering birth control to 10 year olds.

"Emergency contraception is proven safe and effective, and today we have succeeded in expanding access to 17-year-olds and are one step closer to making it fully available to all women," she said.

All women? Who do they mean, 12 year olds?

I'm not against Plan B being sold to adults, but its a serious drug that can have serious consequences if taken improperly or too often.

Ostensibly, the "Center For Reproductive Rights" would like 13 year old girls to keep packages of them in their night stands.

Do any of these people ever think about what these hormones do to their bodies? I can only imagine the health consequences someone who relies on Plan B often we’ll be will seeing in about 10-15 years.

It’s a twofer for the Population Planners. Kill off the 17-year-olds AND their babies, and laugh all the way to the bank.

YEAh....but, the Muzzies are populating like Rabbits and pretty soon they will overwhelm the “Population Planners.” The next 20 years will be “interesting.”

Yes. They do mean to 12 year olds. The Sex Positive agenda is about seeing everyone sexually active at every age. They consider sexual pleasure to be a birthright and are fighting against the stuffy "morals" of Western (Judeo-Christian) society.

They want tweens to be "empowered" to become their own back alley abortionist.

They will just keep going through more fertility treatments giving us an even higher incidence of twins and triplets.

What they really want is to let sex predators force their victims to use them. Another classic example of judicial activism replacing democracy, common sense and responsible government.

I hope that post was sarcastic! If abortion is allowed to continue with no one to stand against it, our country will surely be destroyed!!! God does not call us to have a deaf ear. If you want a country to continue to live in, and one that will be here for your grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, you WILL care and WILL do anything within your power to stop it.

I am sorry you are experiencing battle fatigue. Often, when that happens, digging into the Word, prayer and fasting helps. If we don't do what is necessary to keep our own spiritual stamina up by doing those things then the spiritual battle we fight will sap our spiritual strength and drop us into battle fatigue and/or complacency. Then we are useless to the call and to anything else around us. I understand the frustrations. I understand the fatigue. I understand the feelings of despair. Please remember this....this is only 1 battle. In the end, God wins the war!! God has victory!! WE WIN!! Hold on to that when it starts to get to you. We are in the battle together, every brother and sister in the Pro-Life movement...you are not alone.

Prayers up!
